brake vibration / judder

Hello all

wondering if you could help seeing as we are all so clever and all,
iv got a e36 328i that I track fairly hard,

I have uprated the brakes to the e46 330i upgrade that you can do as it is a bolt on swap and the braking is so much better along with the evo master cylinder and Carbone loran pads it really is good for a car that weighs 1200kg.

I have noticed that I get a lot of steering wheel judder after a spirited 20 mins out on track, this does not seem to be as bad after I let it all cool down after a rest but does return again.

is this due to the discs being warped or could it be down to pad deposits on the discs ?

I have replaced the discs a few times over the years I also replaced the rack but this seems to return after not so long do you think I would be better changing the pads to rs29's or is it a disk issue ?

I have no idea, but have had vibration problems twice..

First time sticking piston. Second time because I was not breaking hard enough. Thought it was warped discs. Instructor took a look then just said break harder. Sceptical at first, but cured problem every time.

they are pretty decent in all honest

any thought to it being deposits on the disc ?

What sort of front brake cooling solution do you have deployed at the moment Jon ? It sound to me like brake overheating issue. Also worth checking the quality of your brake fluid and change it if you haven't been doing so regularly as moisture in the brake fluidd can cause similar symptoms.

Try cleaning the disk faces, palm sander and 80 grit wet and dry ?

It'l be pad deposits building up on the discs.
A bit of road driving may clean them up or if not, you may have to get them re skimmed.

Sounds favourite

I've found being conservative with the braking has led to similar issues

Stand on that middle pedal like your life depends on it....this will greatly reduce any deformation and deposit build up.

I will try rubbing them down and check the callipers are all free,
