Default Are all CSL front seats alcantara

Its a learning curve for me and your feedback has been excellent.

Looking at images if CSL's on the web there seems to be two types of front seat finish:
- plain black alcantara
- black with thin white stripes on the bum seat portion.

Are both of these variants correct?

They're nearly all plain alcantara Dean, and actually grey not black. Think the official colour might be called "Amaretto"

Not sure of the other ones you mean, unless they were the original concept car seats

The white striped seat base was just a pre production spec. All CSL's have plain seats.

Thanks Leins

So the pic you attached is of the experimental ones?
The car I looked at yesterday had pale white lines (running left to right across the seat) where the dotted lines are on your photo)

Either that, Or I am losing the plot!

Yep, they were the seats in the car first shown at the Franfurt motor show IIRC

Not sure what seats you've seen, but they sound after-market. Did they have holes in the back for harnesses? OEM ones don't, so maybe they got swapped by a previous owner for a bit of tracking

Dean - the image displayed by Leins is that of the Concept car when first unveiled, the actual seats used in the production car are covered in Grey Anthracite Alcantara with Amaretta Reflex cloth center panels a very subtle pinstripe and they don't have the harness holes.
You can just make out the pinstripe on the rear seats.

No biscuits allowed in a CSL, Leins
