Hope you don't regret it, as a standard 996 GT3 is not as balanced as a CSL. Needs quite a few mods to make it faster.

The Mk I version only does an 8.03 'ring time and the Mk II is still behind the CSL with a 7.54

Obviously if you're going for a newer model, forget all of the above .

Its an itch I've had for a while.....I sincerely hope the GT3 experience will numb the loss of such a great car.
