Lol yes, tis true, good to try a few different things tho or else you don't really have a comparison.

GT3 was great but not as a daily, needed to be weekend / track toy, CSL great all-rounder but not best with the miles I was putting on it, bits harder to replace / get, generally getting old like we all do !! Range Rover silly on fuel, my fault for buying petrol, standard M3 both E46 & 92 were good but not special enough, AMG is by far the best daily for smiles per miles I've had, the noise, the comfort, the stupid turn of speed from cruising to warp in seconds, while still sitting relaxed and enjoying the best seats, stereo and creature comforts is just hilarious.

Ok had the new M3 out today for a 5 hour test drive what can i say
this is the best way for me to sum it up

I WANT ONE

Its one fast car and smooth it had the dtc and it feels like the GTR i was in on the up changes it just flys up the gears and boy can it travel at mental speeds on the B roads up here.

Turn in is Brill no understeer at all and the back is planted on the road
its a great place to be with all the toys and i need a heads up in my life after today Brill just Brill.

it sounds fantastic as well i could not tell the sound coming from the speakers at all with the windows down it barks on the changes its a great sounding car for a turbo out the box and yes it still has the M thrill to drive

Here are some pixs i took not many as drove it almost the full 5 hours the dealer had to pull the keys out my hand

If they Make a CSL it will be Mental
click the small picture below to see the heads up display
