You will regret it. A Porker dealer has been trying for years. Test drives, driving experience, etc. Buy a Caterham to go with cesil, much more fun for those roof down moments.

It looked brand new, bought new rims, badges, suspension, brakes etc hence it got spotted, inspected and bought.

Waiting for parts and being let down every quarter with dates made my decision up. Bloody awesome car but my E46 M3 is ticking all the boxes at the moment.

Got plenty of good memories of the car and track action

I think it is funny how people complain about the availability of the roof

if the lacquer is damaged then can easy get it redone, if the roof suffers enough damage that it needs replaced then most of the time the rest of the shell has probably seen some pretty substantial (probs write off) damage

besides the likes of karbonious do a direct replica which most people wouldn't know the difference with, unlikely someone is going to pull the head liner during a pre sale inspection to check for a BMW sticker too

Not the point, should still be available, one of our cars has had a new roof about four years ago. After a miner bump , am not knocking the cars! just part availability, anybody paying top money would expect genuine parts on things like carbon roof and other uneak parts that make Csl what it is, or you may as well just get a M3

Yeah I had a Boxster Spyder, great car BUT.. I view the CSL as Bmw at the time putting 100% of their efforts into making the car the best they possibly could which in my eyes makes it special. The spyder was great especially if you like getting the roof off but a lot of that car is marketing at its finest it's honestly not that much better than a normal Boxster S 987 imo although it does look a fair bit more special. You won't be disappointed with the handling it's a great drive.

There is no substitute for genuine OEM parts.
After all is that not why you have been buying up all the genuine CSL parts for your car rather than stick with the repo parts?? lol

pretty much

although roof wise i've conceeded that i'm likely going to go Karbonious roof due to the lack of OEM availability (unless one comes up for sale magically), there was recently someone that did the swap on cutters and the finish/fit is incredible

I do already have a set of genuine schwartz black gutter trims in stock for when the time comes
