Default Some pictures from the event - Day 1-2 - 22-23rd May 2023

As you may have seen all over Instagram, we had in excess of 80 owners from all over the world attend the 20th Anniversey meet in Munich and then over 60 went on to the Nurburgring.

I started off from Norfolk and was somewhat loaded up to the gun-whales with the clothing and umbrellas produced for the event:

Myself and Joe were lucky enough to get to stay with Simon H the night before the crossing (who lives just a stone's throw from the Chunnel), so we didn't have to get up at silly o'clock. Simon's garage easily accomodated us all .

A quick fill up before we arrived at the Chunnel:

Despite being the closest, we werent the first to arrive - Vivian (Simon's other half) had plyed us with bacon rolls, so we were little late to the party :

It was hilarious when Mel, Ian's other half got in the wrong car and then insisted vehemently that she was in the right one, that John had to go and check his registration. Much embarrassment later, Mel got in the right car .

Our little convoy conisted of 11 cars as we were going to do the trip to Munich in two halves, with an overnighter at the Victors Residenz Hotel at Saarbrucken - a half-way point. I was then contacted by a French photographer, who asked if we would stop at the services on the Chunnel exit, so they could take some photos of the cars.

I was also stopped at this point (after already being singled out for a drug search where they swab the door and boot handles ) by a lovely gentleman in a Police X5, who had never seen a CSL in his life, and then suddenly he was seeing 11 all together. I explained about the 20th Anniversary and that he was likely to see a lot more turn up through-out the day. He enquired about the current values and then asked if I'd swap for his patrol car - I politely declined .

These young guys were literrally jumping up and down when they saw us all pull in, ignoring the Ferraris and Porsches that pulled up (much to the bemusement and chagrin of the owners, who didn't seem to understand what the fuss was all about ).

Once they had taken photos of all the cars, we set off for the half-way point:

Once we reached the German autobahn's, everyone opened up the taps and we had 11 cars cruising in convoy at 150+mph for several miles - one of the coolest things ever .

We arrived at Saarbrucken in the evening, got parked up and then went for some dinner.

Nordschleife, there's only two barriers to worry about - the ones on the left and the ones on the right .
