Wrong colour stitch obviously but this pic shows how an m sport steering wheel should be stitched (For those who don't know the difference)

I can't add anything for the vendor you used, but I got burnt too using Dallas Custom Steering Wheel in the USA for my GT3. Absolutely terrible job. The hard part is finding a vendor who has a machine to do it, not by hand as most aftermarket guys do.

I've used jack over the years, but just recently over the last 6 months I've seen a deterioration in both the products being sent out and his customer service skills. I tried and tried to get a wheel done recently, it was like he didn't want to know.

Ive only just got back from zandvoort 8 hour journey and im on my way to jacks to get this sorted as like a fool i didn't buy a spare wheel at £70 eBay so if it did go wrong i would still have mine.
He has offered to supply me another wheel because he cut mine and do another set of gaitors even he said they look crap!! Future advice buy a cheap eBay wheel n send that off so if yours ain't bad damaged at least you have a fall back!!

StevenEK, did you deliberately get the red marker on your wheel to match your red trainers with blue socks?
Adem, my wheel needs re-trimming and I'm still inclined to take the risk and send it to Royal. I don't know of any other options and it seems like 50/50 risk is worth the chance. Let me know if you get it resolved. |

Issue resolved im not 100% happy but i guess you get what you pay for and for £135 you will probabily end up with my wheel cos he has to palm that off.i got there and he had already retrimmed another wheel guess what ironically the way i wanted it trimmed and the gaitor was close to good
I asked him with this second wheel is this the best you can do?he replied im not a machine and if you want a 400£ retrim im not your man!!! image.jpg This is his straight stitch!not straight its wonky but the stitch is straight! I won't use him again pay extra 30 get Transcal to do one!im gonna buy a wheel and send it to them see how good they are!!
