The NEW V8 M3

I had a test drive in the new M3 V8, what a car, the engine is great lots off power and revs like a bike not a V8.

The interior is not so good, the seats are great, but i am not a fan of the dash.

Steering is not as sharp as the CSL but good.
The gear box is a bit notchy 1 to 2 gear but ok

It gets a 5/10 for looks.

would i swop it for my M3 CSL NO WAY
will i ever buy 1 i would never say never
when the e46 came out i did not like it but i do now.

Any 1 here drove it ? tell us what you think of the new M3 ?

i fancy a run in one, one was spotted today at the rally show at castle coombe, my mate took the pics for me!

looks a bit better in silver than the red 1 i tested.

Eastern in edinburgh are geting a white demo but not till march 08

Halliwell Jones in Warrington has a silver demo vehicle, been meaning to schedule a test drive but just been too busy!

I must admit, from what I have seen, not exactly a stop you in your tracks car on first viewing but maybe that will start to change when I get behind the wheel of one! To be truthful though, I do not expect to buy one, much more intrested i n the mooted E92 CSL as I am sure many of us E46 CSL fams are!
