This is simply down to the previous owners and having looked @ dealer csl's with much lower miles a forum csl with a genuine history(ideally the previous owners will know and more than likely be forum members) is the way forward. Everybody you speak to has a different story. High mileage is better, low mileage is better. From what i can make out there are a few cars out there, some have been for sale for a long time, others not.
Quite a few dont have fsh which i do feel is essential, a few have missing running in services, or done late. Then i find one with a fsh and low miles that is tatty.
I have now looked at 6 so i reckon/hope i know what i am after.
I am not hung up on mileage but just presumed (wrongly) that the lower the mileage the cleaner the car. Wrong i know!!!
For such a specialist car i am amazed at how many have not been looked after (and i am not really fussy, i just want them to be correct).
I have got another car to look at in the next day which i reckon is the one

Mine had just turned 62K on the way back from the ring last year so its freeing off nicely
