God, I feel really pants having only a hand full of cars, not ever good one's compared to some boys Ferrari's, Porsche's and Massers!

28 now...
- Thrashing written off Mk2 Escorts, Lada Riva's and various other sheds around a wee track next to my Dad's garage in Alloa from about 12 years old!
- Mk3 Golf GL Tdi, 1996 on an 'P'
- Polo Coupe 1.4 (MAD moment after I sold the perfectly reliable Golf)
- Mondeo 1.8i after I burnt the clutch out on Polo
- BMW M3 Evo 1996 on a 'N'. 6 weeks ownership, wrote it off after coming off a roundabout sideways and running out of talent into a tree
- BMW M3 Evo 1997 on a 'P'. To replace aforementioned M3 Evo.
- BMW M3 CSL and loving every minute of it.

Next...who knows!

- Mini City 1000 City E (too rusty for me)
- Suzuki Alto (660cc 3 pot, yellow, great!)
- Pug 205XS (1.4, twin carb, brilliant)
- VW Golf mk1 GTI Campaign (should have kept it)
- Vauxhall Vectra 1.6 (company car, one of my happiest days ever when got rids)
- VW Golf mk3 VR6 (great engine, shame about the handling)
- Westfield 2.0 pinto (used to p1ss 4* everywhere, my most rash purchase)
- BMW Z3M coupé (fab, sold when went travelling)
- VW Corrado 1.8 16v (£700 cheap, practical, fun runaround)
- BMW M3 Evo coupé (estoril blue, fantastic VFM and practical)
- BMW Z4 3.0i (a present to myself for going back to work, but too slow)
- VW Golf mk3 VR6 (same as other mk3, but was cheap!)
- VW Golf mk2 1.8 Driver (always fancied a mk2, other half used it)
- Seat Arosa 1.7SDi (4* NCAP, 65mpg, solid, not much money, other half halved her fuel bills)
- VW Golf mk3 GTI 16v (£300 on PH, full black leather, mint, tried to improve it with Eibach/Boge but then a boneshaker)
- VW Golf mk2 1.3 Ryder (1 doctor owner, 42k miles, my current rat car)
- VW Golf mk2 1.6 Driver (1 lady owner called Mildred, 17k miles, soon to be my rat car)
- BMW M3 CSL (the Ultimate Driving Machine ;-)

Next: thinking of an Audi A2 TDI as a shared practical car, not sure what could replace the CSL, did look at a 996 GT3 last week but don't want to splash the cash.

Rumbled!

The explanation is I was heavily into modifying so both escorts I had for nearly 3-4 years each. I also find the buying and selling of cars a ballache which is why I tend to keep them for a while. 3yrs this month for the CSL
