Found this....what is it?

If you look through my windscreen spdown to the vents in the centre, I have what seems like an black box fitted just off centre towards the drivers side.

Anybody know what it might be. It seems to have a couple of cables underneath but can't see if they join the box..

I have my suspicions ....one of two things!

Maybe the wife sorted out your new insurance & fitted the box that makes sure you
