Long story short I was taking the car to Bartlett's ( for Diff replacement) very early doors on Saturday morning and had a dance with "Hartley the Hare". Despite Hartley becoming an ex-hare the Front bumper took a thumping.

Awaiting insurance assessment and repair/replacement @ Bart's.

If I can't get a credit note in the next 24 hours i'll advertise my TD booking on the forum. Sensible offers considered.

Bad luck mate

To be honest, if you recall what I said to you re the GP, now it's fully sorted to cope with a track day and the only thing that'd let it down would be me is, it just doesn't appeal to me.

That may change in time, in fact it probably will

Will be a good day at Silly, a chance to put names to faces.

Oddly before my encounter with the Hare I would have definitely said tyre wall contact would have resulted in considerably worse damage.

Hope all is well with the car. Sounds like you were fortunate. Bedford per chance?
