Default What brake fluid

OK so what brake fluid would you recommend. I have braided hoses, or will do soon thanks to Dave1, but standard discs with EBC red stuff pads.

I used Halfords Dot 5.1 but would use ATE blue next time for the reason above. I didn't know when the system was flushed through. I went through a whole bottle, is that enough anyone?

Going to do them again anyway as I'm not 100% sure.

I was warned off SRF on the CSL as apparently is can eat the seals in the brake system so have avoided it thus far, always used it before on other cars, great stuff. having said that you can use the AP super dot 4 stuff and change it every 8-10 weeks for the same cost as having SRF and changing it every 6 months as you are supposed to.
