Trying to speak for both of us...we weren't too nervous I don't think but like all things when its ALL NEW there si too much to concentrate on and you forget things.......which we both did but I think we managed to keep in mind that it is about winning first and once we were out there we were trying to win.

The car in front of me in our group was nearly one lap behind but I was determine to catch him and go past as he was the faster driver (just to let him know we both were faster than him) - I guess I should have calmed down and just driven 9/10s but seemed like to good practice and a good chance to dent his confidence

(our mx5 punted him off in the last lap just after I pulled off)

E36er what happened from your point of view? I saw on first lap a e36 m3 at 90degrees parked in your door through copse

Betsy will be back soon, maybe with some more powers
I bore the brunt of a coming together between the lead car - James in the white/pink e36 - and a Vectra. They were having a cuddle, with the e36 completely sideways. I thought I'd got round them but I just saw a white blob in the corner of my eye before an almighty crunch. Still not sure who was at fault, although most seemed to blame the Vectra driver. He was nowhere to be seen after the race, which is a bit shit really. He could have at least explained his version of events.

Glad you enjoyed your first race, it's a great series with a really decent bunch of people. I'll make sure to say hi when I'm back.

I told you the changeover would kill you

Now the racing funds start to disintegrate with repairs

Good first outing

Great effort shim and superb you've popped your racing cherry, fook me those first few races make you nervous but as I was told that's a good thing as it keeps you on your toes

Look forward to following your updates and progress
