Nice spot

That's about right, they drop massively from new in the first three years, mine was just a shade under £70k with all the options ticked when new, I picked it up still just in its 3 year MB warranty with 18k on it for £35

Glad I didn't buy one new

Had it just over a year now, well 18 months and done 15k in it, its soooo bloody good as an all rounder, dropping little one off at nursery or pulling into a customers place it doesn't really shout look at me, more a nicely specced C class saloon to those who don't know.

But when you want it to be its shouts ' fuck you ' and roars and spits and rumbles so much even just starting in the morning puts a smile on the face lol.

Seriously one hell of a car for 35k, awesome seats, music system and effortless cruiser, autobahn weapon.

Don't buy one without LSD and Perf Pack is a nice addition.

Tis a keeper this one, once finances allow and house move sorted in Jan next year going on a 50/50 E46 track car project, C63 as the daily.

not driven one to compare, but would think the SL bit more of a boat, the 63 actually handles very well, just needs a V3 kit to make more useable for track work, and nicer stance etc.

It loves to go sideways at any opportunity and waggle it rear even in the dry

Pondering a C63 AMG estate in the next year or so - surely the new model out next spring will impact the prices further?

Do you ever pay attention to the fuel consumption or is it a case of a minor downsides?

Actually prefer the Saloon/Estate to the coupe, both lovely.

They will probably drop a bit I reckon with new model out, so worth waiting to see.

It's not too bad, general around town sensible driving 17/19, motorway cruise 24/26, but in Germany and when pushing on single figures.

So not as bad as you would think.
