Slightly less weight than a 19" OEM rear wheel + 265 tyre

They sit nicely within the rear arches - just like the 19's with spacers

Rob, do you have any update about the awesome E88s ?
Did you see difference in laptimes ?

Hi Alex,

I now like them a lot although it took a couple of track days to get used to the 'feel' of them compared to OEM 19" wheels.

I can definitely feel the extra front end grip and have confidence in that as well as being able to brake that little later due to the extra rubber in contact with the road. I don't really 'feel' there is any difference in having the wider rears, however.

I now have to drive with DSC off as the rears upset the system otherwise. I like using SMG S6 now though!

As for lap times, i wouldn't really know as i don't time and am not too bothered to be honest. I do know i was running low 8 minute laps at the Ring back in April.

Sounds good then

I asked about laptimes on a 'normal' track and not the Nordschleife.

why did u go for a staggered set up vs. a square set up? wouldn't that be best to extend the life of your tires?

I wanted to keep the staggered setup as BMW intended for the car. I bought these wheels second hand so they were already made up to be staggered with the correct offsets machined onto the wheel hub faces.

To be honest, whilst i may well go through front tyres quicker as i cannot rotate to the rear, my rears last longer staying put on the rear axle - on track at least. I do not use these wheels on road.
