Right. Here's the deal.

I bought both pairs of grills from Lawsy for 150 along with a job lot of other bits. I never fitted them, they were bought in October. My missus sent them out to the buyer and i hadnt properly inspected them. They were in UK and I was not.

They were sold to cslsuperfan who now doesn't want them due to these points:

RH kidney grill- scratching and laqcuer missing

LH kidney grill- laqcuer orange peeling

N/S wing vent- forward end of top c/f vein broken. 2 of the 4 mounting clips missing, one top and one bottom.
csl badge delaminating from PVC outer.

O/S wing vent- 1 of the 4 mounting clips missing, one bottom. csl badge delaminating from PVC outer.

I'm taking his word on this, but from the pics my missus posted above they dont look as bad as he describes. Maybe Lawsy can recall condition? cslsuperfan will be posting them out to whoever wants them after i've sorted his refund.

Don't bid me in the balls, I'll just shelve them.

I'm being as fair as possible.

Cheers, Gav

Following the recent honesty post personally I wouldnt be interested anywhere near those prices. if we get below £100 then I may re-register my interest but thats it.

Thanks for being honest about them anyway.

The csl badges we knew where delaminating (bet you lost the 2 spares I gave you as spares to fit. )

As per the clips broken, possible. But just swap the slats over to your original housing, takes couple of minutes to do. Easy job.

But the carbon itself is in great nick, I never noted any lacquer missing or scratches? Lost on that one. ?

The one slat being broken.... no breakages when I had them Gav.

In fact, I can bet that if you fitted them to the car, no-one would see anything amiss.

I know for a fact that all aftermarket carbon fibre products when inspected under microscope will show discrepancies.

We took them out and looked over them Gav, they were in great nick, and most likely still are.

I could go round most peoples CSL's and pick serious holes in all areas, bodywork included, but I would still describe most as in excellent condition.

I suspect someone has paid 2nd hand half prices and is expecting brand new items.

Get some pictures up. And get them for sale on m3 cutters, they'll fly out.

As the grills are now with cslsuperfan I am unable to post pics. Maybe he can post some up of all the points he listed now he has been refunded.

Gav have you got the 2 spare csl badges I gave you with them.

End of wing grille, was not like that, transit damage?

As per clips on wing grille, easily swapped the slats across to another housing.

The scratch on the front grille looks like it was been laid flush and moved on something? Was not like that, will it not polish?

As per orange peel and missing lacquer, its hard to see what you mean from the pics?
