All in a good cause I would have attended this but as pointed out it's the BMWcar trackday and I'll be there in my racecar giving passenger laps.

Tom - the charity day at Evolve is NOT on the 25th - its most likely going to be the 15th - but i can confirm it is NOT the 25th!!!
I will be doing my first ever track day in my CSL at Brands on 25th - so it will be good to see you there - i wont be hard to miss you so i'll pop over and say hello. I would very much like to get a passenger lap with you - cant think of anyone better to give me some good tips and would be much appreciated. I saw your car at Bexley yesterday - looked good!!!

You're welcome... the CSL will probably be there also but I intend to be there in my E36 which has been in the magazine this year.

CSL looking a little sorry for itself at Bexleys right now, could do with some tlc. Basically we've got an E46 engine to build for it.... waiting on parts at present and then once the messy stuff is done it's going to have the wrap removed and get her resprayed.

Was going to go white but have had to change the plan as it's a bit old hat right now.

Just wanted to say it was a great day today at Evolve - i hope they managed to raise a nice amount for charity. There were some awsome cars there. Nice to meet you Lee - your GT2 is an amazing example.

haha she did say she loved Porsches, mine loves the Porsche but is put off by what a nightmare it can be in the rain for her.

My wifes fave is the CSL but only because she drives it

Have just been to Bluewater and its nasty rain/drizzle with lots of standing water on the M25, the new Michelins are so much better than the P Zeros I had.

Good day yesterday, I am going to get back up there as soon as I have replaced my diverter valves and have another run.

Be good to see the pics when you get a chance.

Lee - my wife took the CSL to Lakeside today - you probably passed each other on the M25!! She rang me from the car asking what i thought was a safe speed to be doing in the rain as she kept feeling the steering go "light" through "big" puddles!!??? I said keep it to about 50mph for gods sake!!!! She then retorted with... "So, 130mph is definitely too fast then???" Suffice it to say she got her and the car home in one piece about an hour ago and that could be the last time she drives the CSL in the rain!!! Ive got no idea how to add pictures on here to my posts otherwise i'd put some of the pics up??
