I'll try again. The mrs says I never listen now it seems I don't answer the question. Maybe I should try politics.

On average 4500-5000 miles a year.

I'm trying not to think about appreciation/depreciation, but obviously at the moment it can't be avoided. I'm going to continue driving it as per my original thread.

What will be nice is when I retire & can no longer afford to run Cesil, or my funds have run out it may be worth a few bob. I'm not banking on it, as they say in the financial market:

Your original investment may go down.

I have had it 10 weeks and done 1000 miles. 500 of which were done this weekend. Not a daily, will provably do 2-3k per year. Not trying particularly to keep the miles down but I have a few cars and only do a total of about 12k miles per year.

Is there any one who still used a CSL as a daily driver

Not likely on here.

I don't use mine daily.

Last year I done about 300 miles

Owned it 9 years and done 35k miles, 1st couple of years it was my only car and was fine. Even used to transport fence post mix around one weekend, with no cardboard floor issues... :giggle:

Keep mine for sunny days but still managed to put ~1600miles on it this summer. Doesn't help that it's a 300 mile round trip to the nearest track.

Very similar story here until i fitted KW Clubsport and bought a second car to use as a daily shitter.

I have owned it for 7 years and have covered 45k miles or so - mainly in the first 3-4 years of ownership.

I would imagine there are much less who do this now compared to a few years back as the car is too special/valuable/hard to repair these days.

I think I've done 600-700 miles over the past year, which has mostly been done over the last month. It's deffo not a daily car. Too hard with too many noises, which aren't bad on a blast

Mine is my only car so always gets used when I need a car rather than a motorcycle. That's not too often, so I've done only a bit more than 3K miles since Munich two years ago.

Not too bothered about app/dep reciation.

Oh dear. I read all these posts and think I must be using mine way too much. Already done ~1600miles since March. I have a tour of Scotland lined up for next weekend and am driving it to Le Mans in June. Perhaps I should leave off the old girl?
