As said £1200 is too much for Super sports,you can get them a lot cheaper than that.

had a long chat the other day with the UK head of technical @ Michelin ... interesting insight into the cups & SS

Basically he said , he got his tyres free so could choose any of them but he would always fit the SuperSports to a CSL that spent any time on the road. The SS outperformed the cup in all areas except for that last 5% on a track.

Hmmm... hard to beat driving a CSL on Cups though, I have to say. Maybe for long M'Way stuff, SS's would be 'more comfortable' but for Sunday runs, has to be Cups all day long.
