Was a good day on sunday. Been a while since I have been out.

Was good to meet up some of the regulars as well, might see you again on track soon.

unrelated.. what the hell is up with my bonnet? I am hoping it is just not latched properly or needs aligning? any ideas

Shimmy U old wind up merchant Don't be silly. It's just one of the bonnet catches not latching on. They do that when they get old. Bit of copper grease and a work out on the catch in the slam panel, with a screwdriver. Job done

I thought there was only one catch? i looked at that today but couldn't figure it out. I can see one latch type jobbie but two springs? How do they work together?

There are two catches, one either side of the kidney grills on the inside slam panel, as it were Seems one of your catches is on strike
