IMHO now that you've rightly decided to do this whole thing properly by investing that little bit extra time & £££ to make your CSL the excellent car it always deserved to be (and possibly once was) ... so long as all the remedial work you're now having done to it is of a very high standard, I'd consider this moment the equivalent of a re-set button.
Forget those less than perfect eBay adverts don't waste any more of your time or money re advertising the CSL there. Re writte the PH Ad explaining clearly exactly what you're now doing and once the CSL is all sorted get some proper pix and advertise it on CSLR

Hi thanks for the heads up, I have purchased brand new carbon splitters.

And the chap who's doing the work used to work for BMW.

My thoughts exactly. Good move coming here, being known will help rather than being a random ebay car. I would also sell it just on CSLR, there's that few cars out there, anyone serious will know where to look.

Talking

Agree. Get the bits sorted, write a better advert, avoid eBay, get some nice news pics, and £39995 should be where you are pitching it.

Cosworth won't like it but bet you it sells

I'm not sure whether Cosworth50 has had the pleasure of ownership of a CSL or indeed the day in day out of running and maintaining one.

IIRC the new CF splitters come without any lacquer on them these days so there will be more work required to get them to the OE finish.
If I were you I'd (as others have already said) get Mark CSL to refurbish your original one and get a refund for the ones you've just purchased.
Below are a couple of pix of one of my rare original MK1 flippers before & after refurbishment by Mark Highly recommended
