Wonky 'L' after Washing

Hi fellas,I had the battery light flicker on and off for a while last week but then it stopped,been in the garage today but they can't find a fault but just had it delivered back and the light is now permanatly on! Battery voltage is okay so must be the alternator? Anyone any ideas

Fooked alternator probably....there is a thread on here somewhere....will dig it out...

I would think deffo an alternator fault,very common on CSLs and M3s.The battery may be at full charge now but a couple of short trips and Bobs your Uncle.

You had about 70 miles from first light so be warned and keep the AA number handy or get it changed NOW
