Default Can they really be this useless?

CSL is in at Cooper BMW in Reading been there since 16th December. Exhaust centre section needed replacing after failing the MOT on a leak. Irritating as I'd asked them to check everything before they took it. Also reported a couple of suspension knocks when I dropped it off, knowing roughly what it was I gave them a good idea to look.

They first told me that the knocks were due to the after market brakes (APs) which I knew wasn't the case as I'd just put on new pads and discs all round. Since then they have come back and told me that a front bush has gone in a lower wishbone and a couple of ball joints need replacing on the rear, pretty much what I told them.
Exhaust is causing the issues after it taking them 3 days to order it then had to come from Germany with a 10 day deliver time, the rear silencer also needed replacing once disassembled so this was ordered too. Car was meant to be picked up today but they are not able to fit the exhaust because they don't have the right gasket.

Car is going to Simpson Motorsport on Monday to have paintwork done on the front bumper so have told Coopers that I am collecting the car tomorrow morning in a trailer and will ask Simpson to do the work as Coopers seem to be utterly useless. Unlikely I will be going back there again!

YES!! I just about bought a csl from them na04??? which was accident damaged . Had a deposit on it subject to no body damage. Car had wing , boot, boot floor replaced and had standard alloys. Best money I ever spent was on the RAC inspection. Then an independent csl dealer tried to sell it without accident damage a few years later.
