Hi All,
Just dropping a quick line to say “a big hello” to the forum. I’ve just bought myself a nice clean low mileage CSL and can’t wait for it to arrive!

Having been a big fan of the standard S54 engine, after buying a Z3M coupe a few years ago, I simply can’t wait to really test out the CSL variant’s extra power and that induction noise! The cars handling is just phenomenal and I’ve already pencilled in a road trip up to the West coast of Scotland to blast along the amazing winding roads.

I thought I’d missed the boat with the CSL as prices have rocketed, but some good fortune has enabled me to satisfy a teenage boys dream. I’ve always been a BMW nut and the CSL along with my Z3M coupe and a recently purchased E39 M5, mean my fantasy drives are ticked off!

I did toy with the idea of a Porsche 997 GTS, as like the CSL they are a hoot to drive and possibly a future classic, but I’m just not a Porker type of guy, and I was so taken by the CSL visually when I viewed it at the dealers that I didn’t even realise it was parked right next to a £2m+ Ferrari Enzo! I’ll send more details and some pic’s of the car when it arrives near the end of the month. The car has had a number of previous owners so it will more than likely be known to others.

I’ve been using the Z Coupe forum for a few years and the info, members etc are great! I’m sure CSLRegister will be just as good and I look forward to becoming an active member.
