I too have seen this post and must admit it's probably the route I'd go. The finish of Karbonious' stuff looks fantastic. Once fitted you'd have to be a real keen bean and remove the roof lining to spot that's not the real deal.
It pays not to get too bent out of shape about these things. You only need to read a few issues of Octane magazine to see that in the classic car world you can practically replace an entire chassis but as long as you have the chassis plate and any stamped areas preserved it's an 'original' car.
