Sadly, the answer is no. There are lots of reasons.
My take:
The CSL was an expensive car to purchase in Germany back then. Heck, if you have a good example today it's still expensive. Thus mostly middle aged people with good income were able to afford the car. These same people have since then moved to Porsche or GTS e.g. and the once "big" CSL community has slowly dissolved. Add a spice of special personalities to each of the owners which in turn made a tight community even more difficult to keep together. Also, today these owners have families and thus other priorities in life.

Furthermore, the official statics from Jan. 2012 showed that in Germany 143 CSL's were registered. I wouldn't be surprised if that number is near 100 today. This adds to the difficulty of getting a good number of enthusiasts together.

I could add more but that is something we can talk about in Munich.

The forum never stopped and is still active to this day. What changed was that it has become very restrictive for becoming a member.
Also there was a "gentleman's agreement" between my forum and this one that all english speaking owners register to CSLRegister.com.
