Wasnt trying to be deffensive, quite the opposite as it shows how good the CSL is.... To be honest I stopped my subcription to evo a few years ago because I was bored of evo as It seemed to loose its original direction and become a bit to serious and most importantly were always slating the CSL
(though they did see the light in the end!

My point was aimed only that for me development has slowed down a lot in the recent years, just take into consideration that top gear episode when they put modern road cars against rally cars..... ( i know TG is slightly on the light side) if you do that with modern cars in comparison to race/rally cars say 10 to 15 years old, the road cars may be slower.
