managed to resolve the spacer issue. After taking the advice of forum members i decided to go for through bolts into the original blind holes in the hubs.
Sourced 40mm wheel bolts from Demon Tweeks and drilled out the 11.50 mm threads to 12mm and hey presto!! bolts now pass through the spacers.
haven't test drove the car but i've been told 15mm spacers are OK on csl alloys with oem cups(265/30/19)
the car looks even more aggressive than before.
will let you know how things go after i've driven some powys b roads!!

Good choice. Adapter plates are not a good idea at all, especially with a car of this weight that generates such lateral g.
