also i have had a number of goodwill gestures when i had no warranty even though i may have had a few modifications on the car

if the car is going to be used for alot of miles or some hard driving i thing the warranty is useful and will save you money and not going to an anal dealer who writes down every modification to appear be doing a good job is a god idea
