This evening I had a Teams meeting with Benjamin Voss from BMW Classic regarding the 20th Anniversary and it?s looking amazingly positive. He has agreed to practically everything requested (including the Nurburgring visit). I just need to make sure in a follow up call that he understands we want to go on track��.

Dates should be locked in next week, but the last weekend in May is also looking the best for them (as per the poll carried out in the WhatsApp group chat).

He will be also contacting Horst Von Saurma for us, so that we can speak to the ?ring lapping legend about his infamous 7.50 lap.

Benjamin is also a huge fan of Friedbert Holtz (the author of the F = m * a book) and would love for him to be there, so I sent Friedbert an email this evening to ask if he wouldn?t mind (with Walter the photographer for the book) and he has agreed immediatley (he still has a huge passion for the CSL as well)��.

I also discussed at length with Benjamin the NLA parts and he suggested that we get a select few of us together to talk this over with the relevant person, as he didn?t feel it fair that we had 50+ owners screaming for the blood of the man responsible for discontinuing so many parts��.

As we have quite a few overseas owners that might want to attend the event, could they make themselves known so that we can perhaps hook everyone up with a car to go in?

It would be great to have as many owners in attendance as possible, so please don?t feel you cannot come without your cars.

In addition, if people could add to the list below of what cars they would like to see, so Benjamin can arrange this:
X5 LM
M3 GTR
M3 CSL V8 prototype
M2 CSL prototype
E34 Touring with Mclaren F1 engine

If anyone has any suggestions of what else they would like to see / happen, please post here��.
