Cheers folks Its nearly there.
Last couple of weeks has seen it fired up and moved off the ramp awaiting it's slot in the paint shop.
Filled the fluids, rebuilt the engine bay back up, stuck in a gallon of fuel and turned the key.
Prepped it for the body shop and stuck the wheels back on so I could free up the ramp for the next project.
Now this has been a huge issue of mine, the steering wheel.... Its totally original and 17yrs old. Id like to keep it original if I can.
I decided I did not want it re covered if I could help it as I have seen some good and some horrendous ones. I also think they look a little fatter once done but that might just be the material.
I removed that last weekend and set to work with hot soapy water and a sponge. It was minging

I'll continue to work away on it and hopefully get it to a stage where I am happy but if all else fails then Royal can be a fall back.
Thats it really now until the paint work is done, booked in mid April
