BMW owners love BMW warranty cars - even though a specialist does alot better job, beats me but thats the way it is with BMW owners it would seem
My first M3 i bought private - 3 weeks down the line the VANOS packed up - cost me £2.5k to fix
Had i paid the extra and bought an approved car or car with BMW warranty then i would have saved. The amount the car cost in the end with the repair was about the same anyway!
So! Onto buying the CSL, not to bitten twice i bought the car from an independant dealer (with FBMWSH upto that point), but making sure i got a comprehensive warranty at the same time from them, it cost me £600 for the year, and to press ive not had to claim, sods law i guess! Not sure when it comes upto renewal what i'll do, renew with them? Renew with BMW? or keep the money for hookers ... hmmm
I'd have no issues buying a higher mileage car without FBMWSH and using the savings to upgrade / repair it aslong as i could get one cheap enough, but i'm in the minority it would seem
