Please correct me if I go wrong here as not a Car Mechanic however the CSL is of course Lightweight but what makes it that "special" is the sum of the parts and the weight Balance across the whole body and of course the driving dynamics. Countless people have stripped M3's made them lighter than the CSL even faster however they are not the CSL
Back on topic why a CSL Carbon Intake since its not a CSL hence not worth buying the original. There are 2 places that produce Carbon Airboxs in the UK that I know of it would be cheaper to go down that route
(no doubt more but not my area of expertise.)
