The EWS module should need no coding. The proceedure you need is to reset the DME's rolling code table back to the start. Both the EWS and the DME will have a rolling code algorithm, which obviously match each other every step. The new EWS will start from step 1, and the DME will need to be instructed to go back to step 1 and from there the two will match. I don't know what will happen if the EWS has now started and moved on. You will need someone with more experience than me if that is the case.
