my car has has similar amount of owners .. quite a few were CSL reg members.
CSL's seem to be one of those cars that people thought in the early years would make a great daily driver, then realised 12 months in that maybe a something a bit softer, quieter , smoother gearchange etc is actually what they want.
Also seems to be a car to get ticked off on peoples list of cars to own & drive, then get traded on for new'er & shiney'er .... its only then people realise what they've lost
In the early years my car went through owners nearly every 12 months .. advantage is that each owner continued full BMW maintance & warrenty so was looked after very well .
