I've been through various pads for my car. I have APs all round, with just the AP calipers (not the discs) at the rear. I have found:
- The pads that came with the APs were no good for the track, but ok for the road.
- If you have standard rear discs with the AP calipers, the discs get hot on the track and ruin the pad. You need to upgrade and I now run DS2500s on the rear.
- I had a sorry experience with Pagid RS5s on the front, which kindly smeared themselves all over the discs on a trip to the Nurburgring.
- I am having a sorry experience with the PF01s that I am running on the front at the moment, which have excellent braking ability, but which have horrendous dust issues and no tang to attach to the anti-rattle clip (so they rattle around). I should have bought RS29's, as everyone on here recommended in the first place
