Actually it is quite simple, you can delete the EWS from the ecu and the CSL software can be written onto the chips in the ecu. Plug it into your car and hey presto works with all your original keys, ignition barrel and alarm/immobiliser.

EWS is part of the software. Not a separate unit.

I will not go into any further details on this on an open forum.......


There are people who can do this, its not too costly. Much cheaper than buying an uncoded new CSL ecu from BMW that's for sure, then finding someone to code it to your car.
