Cancelled warranty after effectively 7 years cover in March after Inspection by Barts. Mileage now covered and warranty cost means cant be justified anymore.

DOT code is the tyre specification.

The date code is a four digit code (2 for week number, 2 for year) that will be in a stamped (into the mould) type font. Normally in it's own rectangle/oval box...
