E46 prices have come up a bit but I'm not sure how many are selling at the 'new' higher prices but if your mate is happy...

IIRC I think he said the car was registered in London originally by the Asian famliy and then he purchased it, best for prospective purchaser to make some additional enquires me thinks :beer:

Pretty certain it was a CSL, no number plate on front, could just about about make out the rear spoiler in the pissing rain
