Waranty or no warranty.
Hi all,
I know it could be a hard one to answer but got quoted £67/month on a £250 exess. £87 no exess. Looking to use the car for few track days and runs to the lakes. The car as 38000 + miles. I owned a Mustang 2005 supercharged that i played around with and Viper and i wouldn't have bothered with it as i knew they where very much bullet proof. I have seen in this forum, changed Diff, changed engine, changed gear, funny vanos :smt085 . How reliable are these cars and should i defenetly go for one with 38000 miles. Thanks. Eduardo. |
Keep it - especially if you intend to track the car. ;)
Oh, and keep it on the monthly payments too! |
i think its worth it for piece of mind. ive gone for zero excess this time at £80 a month. last year i had power steering pipes a diff and a couple of seals replaced. this year so far just a pair of springs. mines on 54k and use it very little at the mo + its better to have it come resale.

I would definitely say renew the BMW warranty.
Having owned a E46 M3 with BMW warranty and now the CSL without warranty, i've learnt my lesson on that one as the warranty would have saved me over £3k this year. |
Thanks guys
The car doesn't have a warranty at the moment but will defenetly put my mind a rest. Eduardo. |
ANYONE USED THIS RAC?
seems like a bargain next door to BMW http://www.rac.co.uk/uk-breakdown/warranty.html |

But I guess if the £2000 are covered its not bad for the amount. Eduardo. Let me know if you go through with it, looking for warranty too. Eduardo. |
