Driver training courses?

Hi,

I'm thinking that i'd like to get on a one day driver training course using the CSL to enable me to learn the car better at the limits on a closed course and be able to do 'stuff' in safety...! :clown: :smt077

I'm thinking of the following full day at £325:

Has anyone got experience of these courses and any recommendations?

Cheers,

Rob.

A friend is doing one in his CSL in December at http://www.millbrook.co.uk/proving_driver.asp

The one you are thinking of doing looks good though.

I have done Driver DP, you use a skid pan and stuff.... good fun but not sure how much of a better driver you'll be. Good confidence building for going sideways though.

Thats what i need - i have very good judgment of where the limits are, but having owned AWD car's for the last 10 years i'm not so good at correcting tail end slides

:hahaha:

Its very good value actually, you also do an alpine style track. It is at the Prodrive centre.

yes i did an andy walsh car limits day in March this year and will do another in Spring 2009 so if anybody wants to fill up a 4 car day then join the party!!

best way is to go speak with him with 4 cars and bargain for £450 total rather than £199 a head
