CSL Number plaque
 

I will be picking my CSL next week sometime, it's then going in for an inspection 1 service + gearbox/diff oil change. I noticed the car I getting doesn't have a number plaque where and how can you get one for the car from?

Go to friendly BMW dealer with chassis number and see if there was ever one issued against your car. If not, they should get you one gratis. Failing that, maybe on here or eBay.

Ask the dealer to find out if your csl was given one,if not they may be able to still get it for you. This is the route i took and got one. If not pm markcsl on here and he maybe able to get you one.;)

Asked my local Sytner High Wycombe dealer about plaque for car, they took a couple of days and could not confirm if the car had ever been issued one, but they managed to get one for my car have just picked it up.:thumbs:

Lucky bugger. Mine checked and said it was issued to the first owner.

Still trying to get hold of one.

I thought the plaque might have more information on it, when I had my RS500 the plaque told me which number the car was out of the 500 made, can this be found out from BMW ???

There's no such thing as an official "N of 422" numbering.
