Are any CSL's affected of the subframe crack issue?

In the US they talk a lot about subframe cracks/tearing on normal M3 E46's and they even have a lawsuit (of course, it's the US) www.e46subframeclassactionsettlement.com. If I understand it correctly BMW has made a kit that can be welded in place to strengthen the problematic area. What I don't know (yet) is if this is something that only affects early year M3 E46's? I did a search on "subframe" here but couldn't find anything on this issue to answer: Is this an issue at all on the CSL?

Cheers!

Ah! Ok. Thanks for info! I should ask the guys who service the car to order that kit from BMW then?

I'll do a new attempt on searching for info on the issue here :-)

A few CSLs have had the BMW free fix inc new floor pan to the rear, foam fill and repainted. All Should be able to get this free as long as you don't have mods which could be blamed for causing it (a/m suspension or rims I guess)

Turner do a reinforcement kit but you'd have to have a look to see if yours was badly damaged first to see if this is enough or if you need the boot floor removing

We've seen two, sent both to dealers who replaced the panel. The fix kits are seem pretty generic and seem to work to so it depends what your view on warranty/repair is really.
