A caged animal, but which one ?
Righto, plans for my CSL....
(brakes I can tick off now!) 1. Wheels/Tyres 2. Suspension 3. Seats 4. Harnesses 5. Cage I'm waiting on more supply of TD 18x9, god only knows what second mortgages I'll take out for the tyres though. I've decided to plump for the intrax 1k2 on the suspension front, whilst there we'll nip round and sort out RTAB limiters and bush replacements etc. Seats - done and dusted, have them sat on Jays VAC replica mounts ready to fit...would fit them now but I'm missing seatbelt anchor points..so thought I might wait for the harnesses.... Harnesses - done, bought some schroth ones from a northlooper but really need cage or harness bars to mount... Which brings me onto the last item which is a bit of a tricky one. Thorney do a rear suspension brace which doubles up as harness bar, relatively cheap, easy to fit etc. Solves part of the harness equation but of course does nothing for safety. I'm not interested in a full cage, nor a weld-in but the list of options for a bolt-in rear cage are coming up short. Anyone have one or anything sensible to suggest ? |
