What PS2 size upfront?
With me changing a set of CSL rims from Cups to PS2s as I need a set of wets, I did consider a different size up front from the OEM 235/35/19.
I am more strong-minded on running 235 again, but with getting great results from running 265 on a 9J rim for track work I couldn't help but think a wider front maybe worth trying, considered a 245 or even a 255 PS2. TBH I will probably run a 235, but did cross my mind. Anyone run this size with a 265/30/19 at rear? Would appreciate any feedback on thoughts. Off to the pub... so expect some good comments below time im back. ;) TIA, |
I run 245/35/19 on the fronts and 275/30/19 on the rears. Ok not PS2's but Falkens without any issues what so ever.
But when i try the PS2's next i will try to get them in the above sizes  |

Why not consider running rears on the front axle like others have done in the past? 265/30/19

The arches are already rolled on a CSL as standard. Is -3deg camber what others like 'houlbt' have ran before?

@bealo what sizes were you refering to trying above. From your 245 back to 235 or a 255?
@glendoggy I'm only running OEM 9J & 9.5J, don't particually wanna go down that road of buying another set of rears to run 265 upfront, although a 265 could be run on a 9J anyhoo. What I'm more interested in is what maximum size could/ or has people run on a OEM 9J front? Is a 255 gonna be too much? Remember a while back some said a 245 just didn't seem right on fronts compared to 235? |
I have ran a 245 on a standard front CSL rim with no problems what so ever and would want to run a 245 PS2 (if they do that size) when i come to renew my road rubber
