what oil temperature?
 
Hi all,
Just wondering, what temperature do people wait for there oil temperature gauge get to before letting it rip?
I normally wait for it to get just below 100, not sure if its right though

Same, usually half way between 75 / 100.

CSLjimmy, yeah the shift lights go off as the Oil gets up to the right temp (which is one amber and two red I think). On reg M3s, the lights go out as the water temp goes up, which doesnt make sense cos the oil wont be warm.

yup dont take my car past 2700 rpm until all the lights that can go out do go out! normally a couple of mm past the 75 mark
