bmw m3 csl with cfr 525

Hi guys,
I have a 2004 bmw m3 csl fitted with a ess cfr 525 kit. Recently my car developed a problem in the engine. A slight knock in the engine between 2000 and 3000 rpm. The problem occured right after some work was done on my vanos. I am currently in need of a good bmw technician, who is willing to come to bahrain. Look at my car and assist in sorting out the problem. I am willing to cover the ticket costs, accommodation at a decent hotel, and access to a garage in order to do the work on the car, and compensation for the work.

Regards

Mohd

LOL Yeah mate Mohd Dropped it off yesterday and we went for a test drive. Car is defintely knocking. We'll see what the cause is. Compression and leak down test etc all will be done.

One thing to note this is not the first time I have received this particular CSL. The car had a grounds up resto done by my company 2 years ago approx.

Love this car so it'll be getting nothing but more love from me. :smt055

I hope its nothing that bad. The car DOES make awesome amounts of power. If all checks out good, all it requires is a proper custom tune for the heat, himidity and bad fuel here.

Checked the car out...

Valve adjustment done, few valves were out of spec.
Timing on exhaust cam was out, all fixed
CSL SMG software updated to latest version and adaptation done.
Compression test done and order is cyl 1-6:
10, 10, 12, 12, 9, 7.5 bar

Car needs new head gasket probably so w'ell most likely go for full rebuild with WPC treated main and rod beatings and arp hardware etc.
