Safety Devices Half Cage + Harness Bar

Hi peeps

next up on my firesale....

A Safety Devices bolt-in half cage with the optional harness bar (this also acts as a strut brace).

Another bargain - £500 collection only from Rochford, Essex.

Just curious...would you sell the harness bar separately and if so what would you be looking for? PM me if you'd rather not post publicly.

Nope, no point, not at this price. Take the lot or not at all :)

Hi you have a PM

Lee

When you had this fitted did they need to drill some holes at all? Did fuel tank have to be removed for fitting?

titan 08-04-2014 06:45 PM

No idea. Best ask UB on here as he did all the work.

Knowing him though, probably suspended the fuel tank with one hand whilst welding some captive nuts in with the other - whilst on the phone of course, diagnosing someone's engine rattle :D

Gibbo 08-04-2014 09:48 PM

Who is UB mate?

It's very similar to my Thorney bar. It will need drilling right through the floor. You can see in the pics it has been plated for reinforcement on the upper side and no doubt underneath on the ACP side.

It's a good bit of kit though, and a great price for the whole lot.

I believe there is no need to remove fuel tank but the diff will need to be dropped I'm pretty sure.

Now sold, pending sorting out some kind of cross country collection :D
