Shock - Horror - E46 CSL sounds tooooo digital !!!!!
 

Just found this on PH on a discussion about the M135s enhanced cabin sound:

"Yes I've owned many other M's and actually (ironically) I don't like the E46 csl because I think it sounds too digital. I think the single vanos 3.0 e36 was the best sounding of the n/a six cylinders. It just sounded more raw and angry, less controlled/metered."

I've heard it described as many things, but 'Digital' isn't in that dictionary! :hahaha:

Well he's certain of it because:

If only i could get my laptop to convert my gopro vid from brands!ive placed a mic beside the airbox so you can hear the roar as it tears up to 130mph 4th gear along the straight!

maybe his head was in his ass when sitting in the csl?
